How they got here

Head-to-head

Result and recap

England 2, Norway 1. Harry Kane put England ahead from the penalty spot in the 24th minute after Bukayo Saka was tripped in the box. Norway, roared on by their travelling support, levelled through Erling Haaland just before the hour, the striker turning in Martin Ødegaard's cross. But England found the winner in the 78th minute, Jude Bellingham arriving late to head home Saka's cross and settle a tense quarter-final in Miami.

England advance to the second semi-final: Match 102, July 15, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, against Argentina, 3–1 winners over Switzerland (Match 100). Norway are eliminated.
